AYMOD 40. International Footwear Fashion Fair
Office of the Commercial Attaché in New York is pleased to inform you about “AYMOD 40. International Footwear Fashion Fair” that is going to be held on November 18-22, 2008 in Istanbul, Turkey.
Aymod, the International Footwear Fashion Fair which is the largest sector fair held in Turkey and the 3rd largest in Europe will take place for the 40th time between 18 - 22 November 2008 in the Istanbul Fair Centre. Aymod hosts companies mainly from Turkey and from Italy, China, Hong Kong, Iran, Syria as well, totaling 218 companies in a net stand area of 15.000 sq meter and in 4 halls.
The 39th Aymod showed the fashion for Autumn-Winter 2008. Thousands of new models, fashion shows, visit of celebrities turned the fair into a fashion feast and reveals the strength of the Turkish shoe sector which improves rapidly. The fair was visited by 24.268 professionals out of whom 971 were from overseas. A total of professionals from 40 different countries visited 39th Aymod International Footwear Fashion Show.
An international buyer program is organized to that fair, and with in that program bilateral meetings will be organized by the ITKIB (Istanbul Textile and Confection Exporters Union) along with visits to the fair. During the program period ITKIB will cover hotel accommodation, including breakfast, and city transportation charges. The participant importer company will only pay airline ticket and personal expenses.
